This is a video I made to help people beginning to play demoman in Team Fortress 2. I hope it helps people ^^. Added hints and tips: - It was pointed out to me that the video lacks sufficient explanation on how to take down sentries. The main tactic is to fin a place where the sentry doesn't see you and where you can shoot over something to hit it. Then, lay stickies under or around it and ignite 3-5 stickies at the same time. - Also, it was pointed out to me that crouching while stickybombjumping greatly increases how far you fly. I didn't know this, but it's true and is a really nice tip. So if you need the extra distance, lay a stickybomb, jump over it, crouch in mid-air and set off the bomb. It helps. - The bottle can be broken for extra damage. To break it, hit a wall or another solid object a few times with the bottle. Apparently, it does more damage when broken. - Regarding recent nerfs: The demoman has been made less powerful un two ways recently: You have half the stock ammo (32 to 16 for stickies I believe) and shot grenades now always damage you if they hit someone right in front of you. As for the ammo, many people make a fuss of it but it's actually not that big a deal. There's almost ALWAYS a ammo pickup nearby and you could always pick up someone else's gun. Also, you shouldn't run out ammo that much at all I guess. The second posed more of a problem for me, because as shown in the video, I use my shot grenade launcher for short-range purposes. I think this is the best I can do till we get more Zecora. Hopefully in season 2 amirite? She was a nifty character after all... I enjoyed the 2 episodes she was in. But anywho... I'm fairly happy with this take. Very little I'd like to improve upon, but I don't think I have the clips available to me yet. Like I said, hopefully in Season 2. Liver is producing too much of something or other. May suffer liver failure some time soon.
