Yesterday I had the opportunity of shooting this Ferrari F430 Spider doing some insane donuts and drifting! He started with a brand new set of tires and burned all the rubber off. The owner of the car used to drive rally cars in Europe and is a huge fan of Ken Block and everything Ken Block does for the rally sport community in the United States. The Ferrari sounds absolutely insane while shredding tires. This isn't the first time the owner has gone drifting in it because he shows great car control. Another amazing supercar from Chicago Motor Cars...a 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia with only 2K miles! Presented by Chris Moran. The Ferrari doesn't triumph because it coddles its occupants—it lacks many of the features one would demand in a Chevy Aveo. Its windows, for example, don't go down. And the extra cost of the 430 over the Audi—nearly $140000—doesn't do it any favors. It wins because it provides the definitive supercar experience. Every piece of the Ferrari seems to have been thoroughly considered, engineered, and tuned by people whose wants and needs are harmonious with our own. Start with the reactive and tactile steering that never fails to relay information through the steering wheel. Subtleties such as a seating position so close to the front axle aren't noticed until you move from the Audi to the Ferrari. We're not talking about the relationship between the pedals and the steering wheel, which is nearly perfect. In the Ferrari, you sit closer to the front of the car, as if you're perched over the front wheels. The benefits are improved forward sightlines, which make the car easier to place in corners, and a greater sensitivity to what's happening at the front tires' contact patches. It's a subtle difference but one that gives the Ferrari an advantage. Both cars have carbon-ceramic brakes, but the Ferrari's gently scrub off speed in a more progressive manner. Even the six-speed automated manual gearbox, with its steering-column-mounted paddles, works better <b>...</b>

I saw some great cars in St. Moritz too, where last summer I spend a few hours there. I have filmed a Ferrari F430 Spider modified by Novitec Rosso. The video shows first a walkaround with many other supercars, then the kind owner start and rev loudly the V8 656hp engine for us, and leaves doing a very nice sound! Here below a list of the mods on the car. The NOVITEC Rosso engine conversion for the F430 Spider consists of: •Two modified Rotrex compressors •Modified ECU •Power-optimized stainless steel exhaust system •Separated oil-circuit •Modified turbine blades •Heat-insulated modified induction tract •Water cooled intercoolers with additional water coolers •Pumps •Reinforced v-ripped belts •Injectors •Oil cooler Complete tuning from NOVITEC Rosso includes a special dual height adjustable coil over suspension that improves driving dynamics; the suspension height can be adjusted at the push of a button while driving to avoid annoying scraping of the front bumper. Wind tested aerodynamics include front spoiler, rear diffuser, and side skirts. Other enhancements consist of carbon covering for engine compartment, carbon engine compartment ventilation louvers, set of rear lights in black, side indicators in black, third brake light in black and reflectors in black.
