
This chapter was just AWESOME story wise. Between Edward turning the tables and the penultimate show down I've been waiting the whole game for, this was simply brilliant. Was it perfect? No. Even so, it was handled a lot better than a lot of the other story threads thus far. This is how you take an idea from the original, expand on it, and make it better than before. The cliffhanger was both a brillant and dickheaded move. If they show the whole scene later (even if as a flashback), I won't be as mad about it. I really wish Ceodore had more of a reaction at the end. Given how disappointed he is to find out about Obviously-Evil-Kain, I really wonder what he's thinking when he find out that he's been traveling with the REAL Kain the whole damn time. How much does he know of Kain's past? Is he angry with Kain for not comming clean before? Is he glad he was wrong about his first opinion and is happy to meet the guy? What? The only real thing lacking in this chapter was the lack of combat. In Edward's tale, it's ecxusable. Here, it's meh. Yes, they're trying to get to the point on the action, and that itself isn't bad, but the chapter is too short. I got through it BLIND in what, like barely over 2 hours (those 20 ish minutes of my technical issues inflated the timeclock). Also, what exactly is the point of Rosa joining the party, but not Edward? Cid at least gets to be a part of one battle, but Rosa does not. Even if she's available in the challenge dungeon, why is Edward not <b>...</b>
