Chapter is off to a slow start. I really hope there's a payoff at the end. Then again, after two GREAT plot-centered chapters, I suppose this could be the breather before we gather everyone up together. At least gameplay makes up for some of it.

That screw up took me a LOT longer than I thought. The original cut of this was 50 minutes long. I realized my error just a moment too late. At least I made it though afterwards though!

Well, this makes more sense now. Still don't know where the hell she came from. And if she can teleport, that does explain why the crystal thefts at Troia and Mysidia are so close to one another, though that doesn't explain how Troia knows Baron is up to no good when they hadn't done anything yet. I am assuming right now there's one of her on the Blue Planet, since we don't see the multiples on the Red Moon until we defeat one. Seems her master or whatever is preserving his resources or whatever. If she had more copies on the planet, it would be to her advantage to steal all the crystals at once...and she hasn't done that.

Wait...why is Kain shocked to be sensing another presence on the mountain and curious about the monolith? The very reason he went to train there is because he KNOWS that's where Cecil was "cleansed" and he wishes for the same. Surely he must know about Mufasa! But given some of the other idiot ideas in this game, I suppose I shouldn't be too shocked.

Totally wasn't expecting that fight at the end. Especially the ending of said fight. I wish in the flashbacks, they would extend the Tellah scene to have Golbez reacting to Cecil. There has been no reference to it since The Reveal, so it would be nice to call back on the significance of his hesitance. Also, why no name drop? Or explination on the scene where he first falls to the dark side? If you haven't played DS, the overall significance is seriously dumbed down, since there's no lead-in to the circumstances that led to it. As a sidenote, that long sequence in DS is my favorite scene in the game, and I keep a backup save there so I can watch it whenever I want.

Edward has them. Seriously. He may have well just told Kain "Feck you. And the Dragon you rode in on." Okay, so he still loses, but damn if he didn't put forth a good effort.

This chapter was just AWESOME story wise. Between Edward turning the tables and the penultimate show down I've been waiting the whole game for, this was simply brilliant. Was it perfect? No. Even so, it was handled a lot better than a lot of the other story threads thus far. This is how you take an idea from the original, expand on it, and make it better than before. The cliffhanger was both a brillant and dickheaded move. If they show the whole scene later (even if as a flashback), I won't be as mad about it. I really wish Ceodore had more of a reaction at the end. Given how disappointed he is to find out about Obviously-Evil-Kain, I really wonder what he's thinking when he find out that he's been traveling with the REAL Kain the whole damn time. How much does he know of Kain's past? Is he angry with Kain for not comming clean before? Is he glad he was wrong about his first opinion and is happy to meet the guy? What? The only real thing lacking in this chapter was the lack of combat. In Edward's tale, it's ecxusable. Here, it's meh. Yes, they're trying to get to the point on the action, and that itself isn't bad, but the chapter is too short. I got through it BLIND in what, like barely over 2 hours (those 20 ish minutes of my technical issues inflated the timeclock). Also, what exactly is the point of Rosa joining the party, but not Edward? Cid at least gets to be a part of one battle, but Rosa does not. Even if she's available in the challenge dungeon, why is Edward not <b>...</b>

So here you go, Mike. Your own castle for Gahcraft. About the build: This castle took me about 2-3 weeks, on and off. I've been busy lately with classwork and such so my time was really hazy. I know most of you know that there are extra areas to this building and the INN is not right but I wanted to fill up the whole castle. The INN has 39 rooms and the prison has 18 cells. There's a courtroom and some random corridors. Even a hidden sewer for a quick getaway.
