Vanessa asks mom if she can do her "blah blah" - which consisted of just saying "blah blah blah blah" as she rocked back and forth, which she found greatly amusing. (April 2003) Note that at this time Vanessa was incapable of making the "k" sound, instead making a "t" sound - so you may notice she says "Tuz" at the end instead of "Cuz."
Jess and Ness play along as their dad asks them to do a special Memorial Day video. Poor girls. :-)

A: She'd turned 4 about 6 weeks before the video was shot. Q: How old is she now? A: Depends on when you're reading this, but she was born in late October of 1997. Q: What does she say at the beginning? A: Though some claim they hear the word "assert" - as in assertive - she's actually saying I can be a "shark" - but it sounds like "sark" because she was incapable of making "sh" sounds at this time. Q: Are you sure she's not saying "I can be a SARK?" Her daily affirmations are consistent with the teachings of the author SARK. A: This is an interesting coincidence, but a coincidence nonetheless. Q: Does she say, "I like my 'elephants'?" A: More than one person has thought that, but she's actually saying I like my "Allisons." Allison is her aunt. Q: Does Jess have more than one mom? She says I like my "moms." A: No, she just has one mom and one dad (me.) For some reason she was "pluralizing" several things in her "like list." A vlog I couldn't bring myself to edit. Mostly because the program sucked. But also, I didn't find much worth editing... except maybe that double chin of mine. So, I split the fucking vlog into two parts. Deal. Anyhow, random vlog featuring a few newsy bits, a few boring things, silly antics, a cat, a dog and other random junk. Enjoy. Fo realzz.

This is the video we made the day of Short Stack's concert 1.7.11. first of all, sorry about most of the videos being turned to the left. My "pro editing skills" couldn't figure out how to turn it. Anyways.. First is the video we made at my house, Vanessa wanted to make a video of our day. Continuing on, we are in the car on the way to Short Stack, and of course.. we are lost. WITH a navigator. like how is that even possible? anyway, the navigator told us we would be there 10 to 6. but we were still lost in the streets of Enmore at 10 past 6. but then.. we FINALLY "reach our destination" (navigator voice). Mum said: OH I THINK FOUND THEM (long line of screaming girls).. me and vanessa: *look to the left* (meanwhile while we're looking out the wrong side of the car *DESTINATION ON RIGHT*) Me & ness: OHHHHHHHH. lol. found them. & then.. we get out of the car cross the road.. and.. THERES CATERINA!. haha (she scared me) (girl in red coat thingo) then we finally find our door. and we got bored waiting for the doors to open at 7, so we made videos.. clearly. talk about an essay right. AND THEN..(notice i said "and then" ;)) the doors finally opened at 7:10. LATE... we found our seats and were amazed by the mosh. haha, we had to listen to two bands before short stack, & the first band was like: " HOW YOU ALL GOING SYDNEY?!" Me: " WHERES BRADIE!!!??" obsession and then...it came to half way & we started freaking out. thennnnn they came on & played some songs, OH AND SHAUN <b>...</b>
