Lynyrd Skynyrd-Free bird

Awesome guitar solo at the end If I leave here tomorrow Would you still remember me? For I must be travelling on, now, cause theres too many places Ive got to see. But, if I stayed here with you, girl, Things just couldnt be the same. cause Im as free as a bird now, And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I cant change. Bye, bye, its been a sweet love. Though this feeling I cant change. But please dont take it badly, cause lord knows Im to blame. But, if I stayed here with you girl, Things just couldnt be the same. Cause Im as free as a bird now, And this bird youll never change. And this bird you can not change. Lord knows, I cant change. Lord help me, I cant change (AWESOME GUITAR SOLO)

Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama (From "Sweet Home Alabama" DVD)

www.eagle-rock.com Lynyrd Skynyrd are the ultimate Southern Rock band. Their signature three guitar attack coupled to superb songwriting and massive on stage charisma has rightfully earned them a reputation as one of the greatest live bands of all time. The original band infamously had their career cut short by a disastrous plane crash in 1977 which took the lives of three members plus two of their road crew and seriously injured several others. In 1987 the surviving members reformed the band with Johnny Van Zant taking the place of his brother Ronnie. This concert from 1996 captures the band on top form at Rockpalast's Loreley Festival on 23 June 1996. Tracklisting: 1) Working For MCA 2) I Ain't The One 3) Down South Junkin' 4) Double Trouble 5) I Know A Little 6) Saturday Night Special 7) Swamp Music 8) What's Your Name 9) That Smell 10) Simple Man 11) Gimme Three Steps 12) Call Me The Breeze 13) Sweet Home Alabama 14) Free Bird Bonus Features: As a real treat for Lynyrd Skynyrd fans we have three tracks from the Hamburg Musikhalle on 5 December 1974 featuring the original line-up of the band performing their three best known songs: 1) Working For MCA 2) Free Bird 3) Sweet Home Alabama

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Tuesday's Gone (studio version)

Train roll on, on down the line, Please take me far, away Now I feel the wind blow outside my door, Means I'm leaving my woman at home. Tuesday's gone with the wind. Well my baby's gone with the wind. And I don't know oh where I'm going. I just want to be left alone. Well, when this train ends I'll try again, But I'm leaving my woman at home (Tuesday's gone with the wind.) X 3 My baby's gone with the wind. Train roll on. Tuesday's gone. Train roll on many miles from my home, See, I'm riding my blues away. Yeah. Tuesday, you see, she had to be free But somehow I've got to carry on. Lord And. (Tuesday's gone with the wind) X 3 My baby's gone with the wind. Train roll on. Ahh on. Cause my baby's gone. Im riding my blues day. Train roll on blue. (Ride on train.) X 2 Ride my blues day. Goodbye Tuesday. X2 Ahh Train.

Lynyrd Skynyrd FreeBird [HQ] (LIVE) 1977

- July 4'th 1977, Oakland, great quality. "Free Bird" (also spelled "Freebird") is a song by the American southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was first featured on the band's debut album (Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd) in 1973, and has been included on subsequent albums released by the band. Released as a single in November 1974, "Free Bird" became the band's second Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in early 1975, where it peaked at No. 19. A live version of the song also reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977, peaking at No. 38. Free Bird also achieved the No. 3 spot on Guitar World's 100 Greatest Guitar Solos. It is used as a finale by Lynyrd Skynyrd during their live performances, and is their longest song, often going well over 14 minutes when played live. The lyrical portion of the song was written early in the group's history. Roadie Billy Powell was discovered as a keyboardist for the band when he played the intro piece to "Free Bird" at a high school prom. Lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant noted his talent and invited him to join. Allen Collins's then-girlfriend, Kathy, whom he later married, asked him, "If I leave here tomorrow would you still remember me?" Collins jotted the question down and it eventually became the opening line of "Free Bird". Gary Rossington played a Gibson SG and used a glass Coricidin bottle for a slide on this song to emulate one of his heroes, Duane Allman. This was the only song he used a guitar other than a Les Paul on ...

Oh Yah! Oh take your time don't live too fast troubles will come and they will pass Go find a woman and you'll find love And don't forget son there is someone up above And be a simple kind of man Oh be something you love and understand Baby be a simple kind of man Oh won't you do this for me son if you can? Forget your lust, for the rich man's gold All that you need is in your soul And you can do this Oh baby if you try All that I want for you my son is to be satisfied And be a simple kind of man Oh be something you love and understand Baby be a simple kind of man Oh won't you do this for me son if you can? Boy don't you worry, you'll find yourself Follow your heart and nothing else And you can do this Oh baby if you try All that I want for you my son is to be satisfied Baby be a simple kind of man Oh won't you do this for me son if you can? Lynyrd Skynyrd - Whiskey Rock-A-Roller

LYNYRD SKYNYRD **SONG REQUEST FOR MrDaddyBartender** LYRICS: I'm headed down a highway, got my suitcase by my side. Blue skies hangin' over my head, I got five hundred miles to ride. I'm goin' down to Memphis town to play a late night show. I hope the people are ready there 'cause the boys are all ready to go. Well, I'm a whiskey rock-a-roller, that's what I am. Women, whiskey and miles of travelin is all I understand. Yes, I was born a travelin manand my feets do burn the ground. I don't care for fancy music if your shoes can't shuffle around. I got a hundred women or more and there's no place I call home. The only time I'm satisfied is when I'm on the road. Well, I'm a whiskey rock-a-roller, that's what I am. Women, whiskey and miles of travelin' is all I understand. Sometimes I wonder where will we go. Lord, don't you take my whiskey and rock'n'roll. Take me down to Memphis town, busdriver, get me there. I got me a queenie, she got long black curly hair. She likes to drink Old Grandad and her shoes do shuffle around and everytime I see that girl, Lord, she wants to take me down. Well, I'm a whiskey rock-a-roller, that's what I am. Women, whiskey and miles of travelin' is all I understand. Sometimes I wonder where will we go. Lord, don't you take my whiskey and rock'n'roll. What's Your Name by Lynyrd Skynyrd from the All Time Greatest Hits Album Lyrics: Well, its 8 o'clock in Boise, Idaho I'll find my limo driver Mister, take us to the show I done made some plans for later on tonight I'll find a little queen And I know I can treat her right. (Chorus) What's your name, little girl? What's your name? Shootin' you straight, little girl? Won't you do the same?. Back at the hotel Lord we got such a mess It seems that one of the crew Had a go with one of the guests, oh yes Well, the police said we can't drink in the bar What a shame Won't you come upstairs girl And have a drink of champagne What's your name, little girl? What's your name? Shootin' you straight, little girl? For there ain't no shame. (Chorus) (Chorus) 9 o'clock the next day And I'm ready to go I got six hundred miles to ride To do one more show, oh no Can I get you a taxi home It sure was grand When I come back here next year I wanna see you again What was your name, little girl? What's your name? Shootin' you straight, little girl? Well there ain't no shame What was your name, little girl? What's your name? Shootin' you straight, little girl? Won't you do the same?
