Yamaha Tyros 4 The Shadows - Wonderful Land Hank Marvin "Wonderful Land" is an instrumental piece which was released as a single by The Shadows in 1962. It stayed at #1 in the UK for more weeks than any other single during the whole of the 1960s. It was recorded in May 1961 by The Shadows' original line up of Hank Marvin, Bruce Welch, Jet Harris and Tony Meehan. The strings were added later by producer Norrie Paramor. By the time of the song's release Tony Meehan had left the group to be replaced by Brian Bennett who co-wrote the B side "Stars Fell on Stockton". The group was in a period of transition and whilst the song was at No 1 Jet Harris left to be replaced by Brian Locking. The instrumental was released in February 1962 and reached number 1 in the UK Chart where it remained for the next 8 weeks. It stayed at #1 in the UK for more weeks than any other single during the whole of the 1960s - including all the number one singles released by The Beatles.[1] It was also released in the US on the Atlantic Records label but did not reach the Billboard Top 100. Mike Oldfield version English musician Mike Oldfield covered "Wonderful Land" on his 1980 QE2 album. Bouw Big Tyros I (2 x 61 keys with a Tyros I)
Inspired by daddn61 and yamati40 I decided to build my own version of a Big Tyros, based on a Tyros I. As you can see it has turned out quit nice. Notice how close the two keyboards are. This is only possible with a Tyros I. Total costs: 150 euri, including the second hand M-AUDIO 61es. Update: the separate controllers are now replaced by a Behringer FCB1010 footcontroller (10 switches and 2 pedals). See my channel for a picture of this setup.

This time my favorite song from JM Jarre. It took my about 5 hours to get the right sound for the lead melodie. Created a own drumset with the sounds from univox SR-95 , a lot of work but i wanted to use this sounds. For the basslines i used omnisphere and gladiator vst plugins all controled with cantabile performer ( LOVE THIS PROGRAM !!! ) Hope you enjoy this one so please rate or comment Kind regards , Albert

Tico Tico By Rico Rico Performed On Yamaha Tyros 4 And Roland G70 Tico-Tico no Fubá is the title of a renowned Brazilian choro music piece composed by Zequinha de Abreu in 1917. Its original title was Tico-Tico no Farelo, but since Brazilian guitarist Américo Jacomino Canhoto (1889 -- 1928) had a work with the same title[1], Abreu's work was given its present name in 1931. Choro (literally translated meaning lament) is also popularly known as chorinho in the affectionate diminutive form of Brazilian Portuguese. "Fubá" is a type of maize flour, and "tico-tico" is the name of a bird, the rufous-collared sparrow (Zonotrichia capensis). Hence, "tico-tico no fubá" means "tico-tico in the cornmeal". The first recording of the work was made by Orquestra Colbaz (Columbia 22029, 1931).[2] Tico-Tico no Fubá was recorded and made popular internationally by Carmen Miranda (who performed it onscreen in Copacabana (1947)) and Ray Conniff. Another well known recording was made by first lady of the organ, Miss Ethel Smith on the Hammond organ. A biographical movie by the same title was produced in 1952 by the Brazilian film studio Companhia Cinematográfica Vera Cruz with Anselmo Duarte playing the main role. The song was also featured in the "Aquarela do Brasil" segment of the Walt Disney film Saludos Amigos (1942) and in Woody Allen's Radio Days (1987).
