1971 Gator Flop

Courtesy of www.wolfsonarchive.org The "Gator flop" occurred during a 1971 NCAA football game between the Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes. In the final minutes of the game, Gator John Reaves needed to throw just another 14 yards to break the all-time NCAA career passing record. The members of the Gators' defense dropped to the turf so that the Hurricanes could gain possession and take the ball to the other end of the field. VOID - a radical pedestrian propaganda flick Part 1

VOID is a Radical Pedestrian Propaganda Flick/Performance Art Piece made in 1997 by Paul Berry at the Alliance Film-Video Co-op. The "Void Candidate for Mayor of Miami rides a bicycle through the city with a sign:"Don't Punch Me, I am not a Candidate". Distributed to the Miami-Dade County Metropolitan Planning Organization, VOID was instrumental in placing a Public Transit Planning Display at the Government Center Metro-Rail Station. VOID is archived in the Wolfson Archives.
