The difference? Evancho is just ten years old. Evancho took the stage on August 10, 2010. Her performance of "O mio babbino caro" by Puccini brought down the house - she got a standing ovation from the audience, and from judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osborne and Howie Mandel. Morgan said "That is one of the most extraordinary performances" he's ever seen on ''America's Got Talent.'' Morgan also predicted that "America is going to be going crazy for a little girl that sang like an angel." In a clip that aired on ''America's Got Talent'' just before her performance, Jackie Evancho said she began singing when she was eight years old. She says she became inspired after seeing ''Phantom of the Opera.'' She said appearing on ''America's Got Talent'' is "The biggest thing that's ever happened to me." Evancho won an appearance on ''America's Got Talent'' after submitting an audition video on YouTube. She garnered the most votes of any of the 20000 submissions. Evancho is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to ''America's Got Talent,'' she has competed in several singing contests. In April of 2010, she performed the national anthem before a Pittsburgh Pirates game ...
