One of Venezuela's most popular music genres, Tambores (Drums) was first played in the Barlovento region by African slaves originally brought to Venezuela by Spaniards (the slaves, not the music). Tambores' tunes carry away listeners and invite entire audiences to dance and clap along. Here is a piece in which listeners participated. The singer and players carrying a Tambor walked along the shore as beachgoers followed and joined them dancing and singing. The tune is improvised as it goes on; notice how the singer addresses me while I video him with the camera...

OH MY GOSH ! I'm posting it at two am in France... Maybe I'm crazy (; Well, it was a lot of fun to make this vid and actually, these two are really my obsession ! Making videos about them is so easy, just because they have that thing... I don't know what, just this halo ^^ I haven't got any idea to name the characters, so I simpletly put their name. This is the story (even if the lyrics are very good to guide you too ^^) : Anna and Josh were best friends, and in fact, they were feeling more than this for each other. But Josh left Anna with no news ; he started dating another girl to forget her. She couldn't call him, so she was waiting for him. But he never called. After that, Anna had an accident in the sea, and at this moment, Josh was calling her. She wasn't there, and he felt there was something wrong. So, he went to find her. The evenements are not in the order in the end because of the lyrics. You can see Josh, who is getting to the hospital, and after you can see him call Anna. But it's just because of the lyrics :) (Forgive my english, I'm french ^^ But I think you should understand me :D)
