Alot of people wanted this video remade for HD and it has been one of my favorite videos I have made so I think it deserved a remake. I have kept most of it the same with the inclusion of some extra scenes that came with Advent Children Complete which wasnt around at the time. This originally took me two weeks to make and was the first video I ever made with sony vegas. This time around it only took a matter of hours, though of course I already had the blue print to follow. It has showed me that I have come along way with using vegas, even though I may not be perfect, I can at least use the program with much greater ease than when I had first made this. I couldnt imagine going back to windows movie maker, in fact, I've forgotten how to use it lol Kept hitting "S" to split the clips like why isnt this workinggggg!!! -_- I hope you guys like the HD remake as much as you liked the original. I was actually going to do a video like this, but with Within Temptation - Memories song insted, I already had started with it and everything, but then I thought of this song by Evanescence - My Immortal, that also could fit with Cloud and his life. Cloud and Aeris' relationship is often said to be "A Story of a Love that could never be" which is why so many people adore it for the tragedy. I tried to show that in this video. Basically it's telling the story of their relationship. It begins in Midgar when Cloud first has his mission, then he falls through the roof of Aerith's Church where she looks after him. They travel together until she has to leave to summon the White Materia. Cloud follows and they are reunited briefly before Sephiroth kills her. After she is buried, Cloud seeks revenge on Sephiroth but he's always thinking of and remembering her death. As he tries to forgive himself for letting her die, Aeris' spirit tries to reassure him. Eventually, he defeats Sephiroth and finally feels at peace as Aeris has been avenged. Now all that's left is for him to find her in the Promised Land. So last night, my housemate and I were lounging on the couch waiting for Doylie to finish work so I could go pick her up, and there was NOTHING ON. So we were skimming channels that we don't normally skim (basically anything past channel 100 because there are just too many channels otherwise) and we passed General Hospital. So I was like: "Dude, that's General Hospital. I don't remember his name but Cloud's voice actor is a big character in that. People use audio bites from this show for him all the time." My friend then looked at me with wonder, "REALLY?!" "Yes." So we watched without watching...Oddly, this is possible. We literally watched the screen without paying attention unless Cloud was on. (he doesn't talk much on this show, either, sadly. Or at least this episode) I mean, at one point someone randomly got hit in the head with a glass vase and we were both like OO Whoa, wait, I missed something. So yeah. Enjoyable. ANYWAYS. A commercial came on for...citrical? Something like that and it was 15 seconds with different actors. Steve Burton was one of them and my friend looks at me once its done and was like "YOU WILL EDIT THIS". So I did. Enjoy it, my friend! And friends.
