2Pac - Changes

Check out our "NEW" website for more music videos at www.bvmtv.com Tupac Amaru Shakur (June 16, 1971 September 13, 1996), also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper. In addition to his status as a top-selling recording artist, Shakur was a promising actor and a social activist. Most of Shakur's songs are about growing up amid violence and hardship in ghettos, racism, problems in society and conflicts with other rappers. Shakur's work is known for advocating political, economic, social and racial equality, as well as his raw descriptions of violence, drug and alcohol abuse and conflicts with the law. At a Mobb Deep concert following the death of the famed icon and release of The Don Killuminati The 7 Day Theory, Cormega recalled in an interview that the fans were all shouting "Makaveli",[58] and emphasized the influence of the The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory and of Shakur himself even in New York at the height of the media-dubbed 'intercoastal rivalry'. About.com named Shakur the most influential rapper ever. To preserve Shakur's legacy, his mother founded the Shakur Family Foundation (later re-named the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation or TASF) in 1997. The TASF's stated mission is to "provide training and support for students who aspire to enhance their creative talents." The TASF sponsors essay contests, charity events, a performing arts day camp for teenagers and undergraduate scholarships. The Foundation officially opened the Tupac ...

"Like most poor people in the United States, I have no voice. The Black press and the progressive media, as well as Black civil rights organizations, have historically played an essential role in the struggle for social justice. We should continue and expand that tradition. We should create media outlets that help to educate our people and our children, and not annihilate their minds. I am only one woman. I own no TV stations or radio stations or newspapers. But I believe that people need to be educated as to what is going on and to understand the connection between the news media and the instruments of repression in America. All I have are my voice, my spirit and the will to tell the truth. But I sincerely ask those of you in the Black media, those of you in the progressive media and those of you who believe in truth and freedom to publish my story.' -Assata Shakur www.assatashakur.org

Final 24 : Last 24 Hours Of Tupac Shakur Part 1 (HQ)

On the night of September 7, 1996, Shakur attended the Mike Tyson - Bruce Seldon boxing match at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. After leaving the match, one of Suge's associates spotted 21 year-old Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson, a member of the Southside Crips, in the MGM Grand lobby and informed Shakur. Shakur then attacked Anderson. Shakur's entourage, as well as Suge and his followers assisted in assaulting Anderson. The fight was captured on the hotel's video surveillance. A few weeks earlier, Anderson and a group of Crips had robbed a member of Death Row's entourage in a Foot Locker store, precipitating Shakur's attack. After the brawl, Shakur went to rendezvous with Suge to go to Death Row-owned Club 662 (now known as restaurant/club Seven). He rode in Suge's 1996 black BMW 750iL sedan as part of a larger convoy including many in Shakur's entourage. At 10:55 pm, while paused at a red light, Shakur rolled down his window and a photographer took his photograph.[46] At around 11:00-11:05 pm, they were halted on Las Vegas Blvd. by Metro bicycle cops for playing the car stereo too loud and not having license plates. The plates were then found in the trunk of Suge's car; they were released without being fined a few minutes later.[46][47] At about 11:10 pm, while stopped at a red light at Flamingo Road near the intersection of Koval Lane in front of the Maxim Hotel, a vehicle occupied by two women pulled up on their right side. Old School Tupac Shakur

"Old School" is a song by the Hip Hop emcee Tupac Shakur from his album Me Against the World. The song features Tupac reminiscing about the "good old times" of rap music, the Hip Hop culture, and true Hip Hop artists. emceemaka created this video in dedication to You Tube member "squallFF9" who considers me an "old dinosaur" and shows absolutely no respect to those who have a vast amount of knowledge about the Culture of Hip Hop. Many other derogatory comments were made by squallFF9 but I shall leave it up to my viewers to let him know what Real Hip Hop is. This video also goes to all the rap fans who think that Pac or Big are the best rappers in history. I give both of these emcee's utmost respect and props for all of their contributions to the Hip Hop Culture but these same fans should realize, learn, know, and believe that "their favorite artist" has love for the foundation, the roots, the origins and the old school. Maybe this video could open more eyes and assist people in realizing that Hip Hop has a history.

Making up Tupac Shakur Unseen 2pac taken 1996

Never before seen footage of Tupac Shakur. Just sharing clips of Tupac from hours of video as special effects make up was applied and Tupac prepared for his final scene in the movie, BULLET. Sorry, it's put together quickly, unprofessionally, it's quiet...but at least you haven't seen it before! There were no bodyguards, no paparazzi, not even one loyal fan was waiting for a glimpse of the Rapper Actor. We were at a cold night shoot in Coney Island. Tupac was quiet, friendly, polite and alone. It was just us; two special effect make up artists, I with my camera and Tupac, in a small unglamorous room. Tupac sat, I taped and two make up effects artists applied a neck appliance (fake neck) with a hidden hose. Few words were exchanged. The camera stayed on for the whole quiet experience ... it totaled close to two hours, of special effects make up being applied to Tupac, then a few minutes of some candid shooting on the street showing the magic of movie special effects make up in use, on the actual movie set which became a fake bloody mess as Tupac's character's neck is slashed in a dark Coney Island corridor.

Tupac Shakur Preparing to Die - unseen footage on the set of Bullet

More Unseen Tupac Shakur - his final scene in the Movie BULLET part 1. It started with special effects make up and led to this, Tupac's throat getting slashed for the end of his role in Bullet. Shot in Coney Island,1996. Though its all movie magic, knowing his fate, these scenes are a bit eerie. Again, its basically uncut raw footage, part 1 of Tupac on the movie set - unseen - though a few clips may overlap with Making Up Tupac which is also on this YouTube channel. There is no music, its just noise on set. Sorry youtube will only allow short videos and that this part is mostly long shot on the street in the middle of the night, so it may be hard to see him at times, its interesting to see what life on a movie set was like for him, and how these movie scenes with special effects make up were shot. The next part of this footage- which will be up soon has a lot more close ups. There is still a lot more 'missing' footage to come. If you haven't seen the Making Up Tupac video on this channel - check it out.
