Brandon Roy scores 18 points in Blazers' 4th quarter comeback vs. Mavericks Game 4 (4.23.11)

Brandon Roy scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter -- including a 10-foot bank shot with 39.2 seconds left for the game's final points -- to lift the Trail Blazers to an improbable 84-82 first-round playoff victory over the Dallas Mavericks Saturday at the Rose Garden. The win squares the best-of-seven series at two games apiece, with Game 5 Monday night in Dallas' American Airlines Center. Portland trailed 64-41 late in third quarter after missing its first 15 shots of the third quarter. The Blazers trailed 67-49 entering the final period. It was the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in franchise playoff history.

2008 NBA Finals: Lakers at Celtics, Gm 1 part 1/13

Game 1 - Celtics 98, Lakers 88 The Celtics drew first blood and won Game 1, improving to 7-2 all-time at home in Game 1 versus the Lakers. With the win, the Celtics improved to 11-1 at home this postseason. Paul Pierce was the story of Game 1. After scoring only 3 points in the 1st half, Pierce erupted for 15 third-quarter points, going 5-for-5 from the field and 3-for-3 from 3-point range. Pierce left the game with 6:48 in the third quarter with an apparent knee injury and had to be helped off the court in a wheelchair. However, he dramatically returned to the court after just a few minutes, and re-entered the game showing no ill effects from his injury. Pierce finished with 22 points and Kevin Garnett, who had 16 first-half points, ended Game 1 with 24 points. Boston held the Lakers to a 25.0 FG percentage in the fourth quarter. The Lakers lost Game 1 for the first time in the 2008 postseason and fell to 4-9 in their last 13 postseason road games. Kobe Bryant started the game by missing his first three shots and was 2-8 from the field in the first quarter. Bryant scored 12 points in the third quarter and finished with a team-high 24 points for the game. After scoring 51 points in the first half, the Lakers scored just 37 points in the second half. Derek Fisher scored 13 points in the first half but had just 2 points in the second half. The Lakers were outrebounded 46-33 in the game.

The defending Super Bowl champion Packers took the opening kickoff and marched 76 yards in just over four minutes, scoring the first points on Brett Favre's 22-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Freeman. The Broncos responded with a 10-play, 58-yard drive capped by Davis's 1-yard run to tie the game. Tyrone Braxton intercepted Favre two plays later, and John Elway scored on a third-and-goal play to begin the second quarter. Steve Atwater forced Favre to fumble three plays later, and Neil Smith recovered at the Packers' 33. Jason Elam converted a 51-yard field goal, the second longest in Super Bowl history, to give the Broncos a 17-7 lead with 12:21 left in the half. After an exchange of punts, the Packers produced a 17-play, 95-yard drive that consumed 7:26 and finished with Favre's 6-yard touchdown pass to Mark Chmura on third-and-5 with 12 seconds left in the half. Tyrone Williams forced and recovered Davis's fumble at the Broncos' 26 on the first play from scrimmage in the second half. However, the Broncos' defense kept the Packers out of the end zone as Ryan Longwell's 27-yard field goal tied the game with 11:59 left in the third quarter. After another exchange of punts, Elway's 36-yard pass to Ed McCaffrey keyed a 13-play, 92-yard drive capped by Davis's 1-yard touchdown run with 34 seconds left in the third quarter. Game 1 - Lakers 104, Pacers 87 In the first Finals game played at the new Staples Center, the Lakers took control from the opening tip. LA made 15 of its 20 shots in the first quarter, taking a 33-18 lead. The Pacers cut their deficit down to two points in the third quarter but never got any closer, and the Lakers used a 13-2 run to cement the victory. Shaquille O'Neal, playing in the Finals for the first time since being swept in 1995, led all scorers with 43 points and grabbed a game-high 19 rebounds. Kobe Bryant was the next-highest scorer for the Lakers, with 14 points. Reggie Miller, the Pacers star making his Finals debut, struggled throughout the game. He didn't make a shot until there were five minutes left in the third quarter, and finished the game with just seven points on 1-of-16 shooting. Mark Jackson led Indiana with 18 points and seven assists.

Lithuania - Spain Highlights (FIBA World Championship 2010 Turkey)

IZMIR (FIBA World Championship) -- Lithuania have produced the comeback of the FIBA World Championship so far, storming back from an 18-point third quarter deficit to dramatically overrun Spain, 76-73, and keep their hopes of first place in Group D alive. Spain's loss sees them now likely to meet Greece in a thrilling Eight Final match that highlights the depth of quality teams in this tournament. For the first half, Spain executed superbly in the half court with pick and roll and in the low post, and Lithuania could not consistently find answers. While they fought hard, they trailed by as much15 points, and 43-35 at half time. While the game opened up in the third quarter the Lithuanians could not make the most of it, whereas Spain put on a show, capitilising on sloppy transition defence from their opponents to open up their 18 point lead. But Lithuania would not lie down, rallying late in the third to reduce the margin to 11 at the last break. The men in green then closed 61-64 with 7:16 to play on back-to-back steals and dunks by Jonas Maciulis that brought the huge crowd to fever pitch. A Martynas Pocius three pointer drew scores level with 5:25 to play, and Linas Kleiza gave them first lead since 6-4 with 1:30 to play. From there the Lithuanians held their nerve in the ensuing free throw shoot-out to record a famous victory. Kleiza was again outstanding ands controlled with 17 points, well supported by Pocius (13 points), Maciulis (13 points) and Kalnietis (12 points ...

Bulls vs Nuggets 1996 - Michael Jordan 39 points

This game was played on Feb. 4, 1996. The Bulls entered the game on a franchise record 18-game winning streak. But the Nuggets had no intentions of laying down to be victim No. 19. Denver came out on fire and exploded to a 31-point lead. The Bulls fired back in the third quarter, however, and took the lead. Jordan led the furious comeback with 23 third-quarter points. The Nuggets took control in the end, however, and won 105-99. Jordan finished with 39, Bill Wennington scored 18 and Scottie Pippen scored 13. Denver's Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf led the Nuggets with 32 points. The loss took the Bulls' record to 41-4.

Chicago Bulls - Indiana Pacers | 1998 Playoffs | ECF Game 1: Pippen sets the tone

After a rather easy path to the 1998 Conference Finals, Chicago faced Indiana in the playoffs for the first time. Both teams won their second-round series 4-1. To the surprise of the Pacers and Larry Bird, who had just won coach of the year, point guard Mark Jackson was guarded by Scottie Pippen. A smart move by Phil Jackson, because Pippen was able to take away Jackson's low-post game with his height advantage and defensive intensity. Forced out of his natural game, Jackson committed seven of the Pacers' 26 turnovers. As great as he was defensively, Pippen shot only 1-for-9 from the field for 4 points. "I knew I was going to sacrifice some of my offensive game when we decided I was going to cover Mark today," Pippen said. "I told MJ that he was going to have to take care of the bulk of the scoring because of my effort on Jackson." Jordan, however, had his own struggles and went only 1-for-9 in the first half. The trio of Jordan, Pippen and Kukoc combined for an atrocious 3-for-24 from the field going into the third quarter, while the rest of the team was 9-for-20. Despite poor shooting by the Bulls, the Pacers led only by three at halftime. "I totally lost my rhythm and started missing easy shots," Jordan said. "It affected my whole thought process in terms of aggression and looking for the shot. The third quarter, I was able to turn that around and become more aggressive and just think about going to the basket more. It worked out." Jordan keyed a 10-0 run that opened ...

Kobe Bryant 27pts highlight in 2012 Orlando All-Star Game *passed Michael Jordan in scoring

Of all the NBA greats who have headlined the All-Star Game in the past, no one's scored more than Kobe Bryant. The Los Angeles Lakers guard broke Michael Jordan's career All-Star Game scoring record on Sunday night. Bryant needed 19 points to eclipse Jordan's record of 262 career All-Star points. He broke the record on a fast-break dunk in the third quarter of the West's 152-149 victory. Bryant, who ended the night with 27 points and also passed Oscar Robertson (246 career All-Star points) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (251 points) during the game, tied the record on two free throws in the third quarter, taking a break between them to wipe blood from his nose after a hard foul from Miami's Dwyane Wade. Bryant stayed in the game after the hit, but left to be evaluated afterward and did not speak to the media. The Lakers announced later on their website that a CT scan revealed Bryant suffered a nasal fracture. The Lakers said Monday that the team will give an update on Bryant's health Tuesday after his expected visit with ear, nose and throat specialist Dr. John Rehm. Bryant is a four-time MVP of the All-Star Game, most recently winning the award in 2011 after scoring 37 points in his home arena. He's tied with Bob Petit for most MVPs. It was Bryant's 14th All-Star appearance, tying him with Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett for the most All-Star selections among active players. Jordan played in 13 All-Star Games. Hawthorn Hawks v Collingwood Magpies (2012 AFL Season - Round 1)

The similarities with the 2011 preliminary final were remarkable. A big Friday night crowd at the MCG, a fierce, frenetic contest, highlights by the bucketload, and a handy Hawthorn lead whittled away and surrendered during the last quarter. Only this time, the result was different. This time, it was the Hawks who finished the stronger, booting five of the game's last six goals to run away with a 22-point victory over Collingwood in front of 78464 fans. Although the 20.17 (137) to 16.19 (115) would seem to have given justification to the pre-season hype around Alastair Clarkson's men, the coach refused to buy in. "There was daylight between Geelong and Collingwood and the rest of the competition last year, and what we were trying to do over the summer was try to bridge that gap a little bit," Clarkson said post-match. "Beating them in the first round of the season doesn't suggest that we're there. We've still got a lot of work to do." Collingwood entered the contest without Nick Maxwell, Chris Tarrant, Alan Didak, Dayne Beams, Sharrod Wellingham and Ben Johnson, and still managed to stay in the game until late in the last quarter. Despite the absence of so many key personnel, first-game coach Nathan Buckley was unimpressed. "In the end, our 22 players weren't able to cover for each other and play the way we wanted to play and get the game on our terms as often as Hawthorn were, and that's why the scoreboard says what it says," he said. So it should come as no surprise that as corporate profits reached an all-time record in the third quarter, leading voices in the Republican Party want their tax bill slashed, too. As the New York Times reported Tuesday, happy days are indeed here again for corporate America "American businesses earned profits at an annual rate of $1.659 trillion in the third quarter, according to a Commerce Department report released Tuesday. That is the highest figure recorded since the government began keeping track over 60 years ago, at least in nominal or noninflation-adjusted terms." Those numbers should be taken with a grain of salt. Having slashed costs and reaped the benefits of big productivity gains at this early stage of the recovery, US firms are sitting on a mountain of cash. Kobe Bryant Scores 81 Points Raptors vs Lakers (Part 1)

In 2006, Bryant scored a career high 81 points against the Toronto Raptors, the second highest number of points scored in a single game in NBA history, second only to Wilt Chamberlain's 100 point performance. Kobe Bryant, often unstoppable, played at a higher level than even he imagined possible. The Los Angeles Lakers' star scored a phenomenal 81 points Sunday night -- the second-highest total in NBA history -- in a 122-104 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Only Wilt Chamberlain's storied 100-point game nearly 44 years ago ranks higher. "Not even in my dreams," Bryant said. "That was something that just happened. It's tough to explain. It's just one of those things. "It really hasn't, like, set in for me. It's about the `W,' that's why I turned it on. It turned into something special. To sit here and say I grasp what happened, that would be lying." The Lakers trailed by as many as 18 points early in the third quarter, angering Bryant. "He was ticked off," teammate Lamar Odom said. When asked what Bryant said at that stage, Odom replied: "Nothing. That's when it's bad." Bryant scored 51 points after the Raptors extended a 63-49 halftime lead to 71-53. The Lakers outscored the Raptors 38-14 to finish the third quarter to go ahead for good. "That was incredible, remarkable," Odom said. Bryant, the NBA's leading scorer, left to a standing ovation with 4.2 seconds remaining, having shot 28-of-46 from the floor, including 7-of-13 from 3-point range, and 18-of-20 from the foul ...

Chicago Bulls - Detroit Pistons | 1991 Playoffs | ECF Game 1: The statement game

Before a deafening crowd of 18676 fans at Chicago Stadium, the Bulls defeated the Pistons, 94-83, in the opening game of the four-of-seven-game Eastern Conference championship series. Jordan, whose election as the league's most valuable player will be announced Monday, was held to 22 points, 9 points below his playoff average, on 6-for-15 shooting along with three boards, three steals and six assists. But Jordan's teammates stepped forward -- the Bulls' bench combined for 30 points and starters Scottie Pippen (18 points), Bill Cartwright (16 points) and Horace Grant (10 rebounds) stood up to Detroit's physical play, holding off the Pistons whenever they threatened to take control. "I had a bad game, but we still won," Jordan said afterward. "I think that shows the maturity of our team. I think this shows them that we've got a team, instead of a one-man situation." Today's game set the tone for the remainder of the series. There was very little open-court play, and there were very few scintillating offensive moves. This series will be physical. Bodies will fly. Tempers will flare. Skin will bleed. Character will be tested. There were times away from the ball when the action resembled a rugby scrum. Players shoved, held and did whatever else they felt they could get away with. "It's a different style of ball when you play us," said Mark Aguirre, who led the Pistons with 25 points. NBA Breakdown: Spurs vs. Celtics/Lakers vs. Mavs The 3rd Quarters Are Key

Coach Nick breaks down the keys to the games from March 31, 2011 -- The third quarter was where the Celtics and Lakers took control of the game. With teams this good, there is very little margin for error. With players like Manu, Tony Parker, Tim Duncan going against Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett, a bad few minutes can cost you the game. In the second bout, Kobe Bryant did his Mamba Mode, while Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, and Steve Blake did their best to fill in the holes in the face of the aggression of Jason Terry and Dirk Nowitzki.

Kemba Walker: 21 points (6/10 2P, 3/7 3P, 0/1 FT), 2 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 turnover in 32 minutes. QUOTABLE: "They came out and shot the ball well and we were slow getting into the game and gave up 30 points in the first quarter. After that we were pretty good defensively and we executed a lot better offensively. Especially in the end of the third and the fourth quarter." -- Minnesota coach Rick Adelman THE STAT: Minnesota took care of the ball, made good passes and hit their shots, especially down the stretch. They shot 43-for-85 (50.6 percent) for the game and accumulated 26 assists with only 13 turnovers. In the third and fourth quarters, Minnesota shot 59.1 percent and 55.6 percent respectively. Lithuania - Argentina Highlights (FIBA World Championship 2010 Turkey)

ISTANBUL (2010 FIBA World Championship) -- Lithuania stunned Argentina 104-85 to close the Quarterfinals of the FIBA World Championship at the Sinar Erdem Dome. Now Lithuania plays the USA in the semifinals on Saturday, September 11. Lithuania was head to head with Argentina in the first couple of minutes but their sticky man to man defense, focused on Scola and that didn't allow any passes inside nor any comfortable shots, gave them all the confidence to start their run. The Lithuanians took off with an 8-0 run to be up 17-10 after a basket by Robertas Javkotas with 4:06 left. Then Argentina came back with a 5-0 run that finished with an amazing steal, behind the back dribble and dunk with a foul by Hernan Jasen with 1:48 to close the game 21-17. That play by Jasen was supposed to be the spark that the Argentineans needed, but the Lithuanians never lost their composure and continued to hit from behind the arc after a three pointer by Tomas Delininkaitis and then a two point field goal by him finished the first quarter up 28-18. In the second quarter it was when it all fell apart for Argentina as Lithuania kept their balanced attack, perfect shooting from long distance as they connected their first eight three pointers with success and a suffocating defense. Argentina tried to find Scola, who only had two points in the first quarter, and responded with some made shots. The Argentineans never made a three pointer in the first half and they went down 50-30 after a tip-in at ...

RARE! LeBron James on fire @ Milwaukee, 7 3-pointers included here, original broadcast!

LeBron James was on fire in the 2nd quarter, in Milwaukee on February the 20th, 2009. You know, he was on fire the whole game. This is a short clip of the ending of the second quarter. He would finish the 2nd quarter with 25 points, after scoring 10 in the first quarter. He turned the ball over, and you know what? Scored a 3-pointer from 5 feet beyond the arc. Next possesion? Hit a fade-away 3 at the buzzer. The third quarter? Start with a jumper off the glass, hit a deep 3. Then he crossed the ball over and hit another 3. Then he nearly pulled off an and1. Missed the two free throws, but you know what? Hits another from downtown, from 4 feet beyond the arc with the hand in his face. Charlie Villanueva misses a jumper, Ben Wallace gets the rebound. Immediately gives it to LeBron. He shoots another jump shot three, this time from 8 or 9 feet beyond the arc. After an offensive foul, he hits another jumper. He scored 16 points in 2 minutes and 16 seconds. He himself turned a 4 point deficit into a 8-point lead. After this, he missed two shots, and he didn't take anymore. Until he got another turnover, he suddenly got right back at Mbah a Moute. Hits a fade-away in the post. A few minutes later? Hits a stepback three. The thing I like about it, is that with every shot he made, the crowd rose again, in anticipation what was coming. I ain't a LeBron lover. I think his shooting form is bad. But this is one of the greatest scoring runs I've ever seen. He was just on fire. Hope ...

University of Montana vs South Dakota State 2009 Playoffs

Griz overcome huge hole to top SDSU, 61-48 MontanaGrizzlies.Com The Montana Grizzlies looked nothing like the top-seeded team in the nation for most of the first three quarters against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits Saturday in Missoula, Mont. They looked every bit the part in the final 21 minutes of the game though, when the Griz scored 40 unanswered points to post a 61-48 victory in a Football Championship Subdivision first round playoff game. The comeback is Montanas biggest in playoff history. The Grizzlies found themselves down 27 points with 5:40 to go in the third quarter. Marc Mariani returned the ensuing kickoff 98-yards for a touchdown, tied for the third-longest kickoff return in school history. The extra point was no good, but the comeback was on. The Griz defense forced a punt, and the Griz drove 79 yards in 3:05 to score when Mariani caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Selle to narrow the gap to 48-34 with 14:56 left in the fourth. Mariani had a key 38-yard catch to the SDSU 31-yard line in the drive to set up the score. Montana followed that up with two Chase Reynolds 1-yard touchdown runs on drives of 66 and 52 yards to tie the game with 4:11 left.

NBA Toronto Raptors vs Denver Nuggets | Wednesday, March 28, 2012 | W 105 - 96 Highlights

Toronto Raptors vs Denver Nuggets 2012 March 28. Andrea Bargnani scores 26 points and the Raptors snap a nine-game losing streak against Nuggets. TORONTO -- Andrea Bargnani appeared to have the pep back in his step Wednesday night, according to coach Dwane Casey, the same pep he had prior to missing 20 games with a calf injury. Bargnani finished with a team-high 26 points in the Raptors 105-96 win over the Denver Nuggets, his highest point total since returning. "I don't know if it's his uncle coming into town or what it is," said Casey, "but he had a pep in his step and I wanted to go to him as much as possible and make sure we take advantage of it." Bargnani, who came in 13 points shy of 6000 career points, reached the milestone on a free throw late in the second quarter. Bargnani became just the fourth member of the Raptors to reach the 6, 000 point plateau joining Vince Carter, Chris Bosh and Morris Peterson. The 26-year-old had a stretch of 10 straight points for the Raptors in the fourth quarter opening up seven point lead. Ben Uzoh and Gary Forbes also chipped in as the Raptors erased an early fourth quarter deficit. "It was fun because down the stretch I missed so many threes, wide-open threes and then I hit the two hardest maybe," said Bargnani. "It was a very good fourth quarter, I think they scored something like 11 points so that was the game." Denver was led offensively by Ty Lawson's team-high 26 points, including 16 in the third quarter. However, Lawson ...

Larry Bird 36/10/5 vs. Hawks - 1986 ECSF (Celtics 24-0 run)

From game 5 of the1986 Eastern Semis. Celtics outscored the Hawks 36-6 in the third quarter, which at the time was a playoff record for the fewest points in a quarter. Celtics scored 24 unanswered at one point and their complete run was 34-3. The Hawks made just one shot all quarter, the other 4 points came from FTs (one of which was a technical). Oh...and Larry Bird had a pretty good game.

The Lakers were on pace to break the franchise record for the fewest points in a game (70), set in November 2002 against Cleveland! They were particularly bad in the third quarter, shooting 3-for-19 and scoring seven points, their second-lowest quarter of the shot clock era! Lakers Highlights vs Thunder HD Game 5 2010 Playoffs Round 1

Lakers: 111 Thunder: 87 Lakers lead 3-2 Game 6: 4/30 @ Oklahoma City So thats what Kobe Bryant(notes) meant when he said Oklahoma City had definitely caught the mighty Lakers attention. Pau Gasol(notes) had 25 points and 11 rebounds, Andrew Bynum(notes) added 21 points and Los Angeles vigorously rebounded from back-to-back losses with a 111-87 victory over the Thunder on Tuesday night, taking a 3-2 lead in their first-round playoff series. Bryant had 13 points and seven assists in three quarters of work as the defending NBA champions coolly shook off the eighth-seeded Thunders series-tying blowout win in Game 4 with a comprehensive thrashing of the postseason newcomers. With their offense purring and their defense throttling Kevin Durant(notes) and Russell Westbrook(notes), the Lakers led by 21 points at halftime and went ahead by 32 late in the third quarter of their third home victory in the series. This is the kind of game we can play when were executing well on both ends of the court, said Bynum, who set a career playoff scoring high. We need to try to close it out now, and not be satisfied with this. Game 6 is Friday night in Oklahoma City, where the top-seeded Lakers will attempt to reach the Western Conference semifinals for the third straight year. Durant scored 17 points and Westbrook had 15 on combined 9-for-27 shooting for Oklahoma City, which never recovered after missing its first 13 shots. I wish I could say why, but they kicked our butts from the beginning ...

1984: Ohio State v. Michigan (Drive-Thru)

www.ourhonordefend.com This game is almost never talked about in Ohio State lore, but this victory over Michigan catapulted Ohio State (instead of Iowa) to the Rose Bowl to face USC. Sadly, the Buckeyes have only been to the Rose Bowl one time since. The Buckeyes struck first on their second possession, and dominated Michigan for basically all of the first half. However, a botched punt return by Gary Lanese with 18 seconds left to go in the second quarter gave Michigan 3 points and a 7-3 deficit entering the half. Michigan came out the better team after intermission, cutting the Buckeyes' lead to 1 on their first possession. They missed a go-ahead FG on their next possession. The Michigan defense absolutely dominated the Buckeye offense for all of the second quarter and most of the third quarter. However, a 3rd down catch by Gary Lanese not only atoned for his previous boner at the end of the 2nd quarter, but led to an eventual touchdown to make the score 14-6. Michigan fumbled on their very next play, which resulted in the Buckeyes running over the demoralized Michigan defense for a quick touchdown. Ohio Stadium went into party mode with a 21-6 victory over Michigan, a Big Ten championship, and Earle Bruce's second trip to Pasadena.

Kobe Bryant 2006: 81 pts Vs. Raptors

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Kobe Bryant, often unstoppable, played at a higher level than even he imagined possible. Bryant, the NBA's leading scorer, left to a standing ovation with 4.2 seconds remaining, having shot 28-of-46 from the floor, including 7-of-13 from 3-point range, and 18-of-20 from the foul line. With the 18997 fans at Staples Center chanting "MVP! MVP!" Bryant made two free throws with 43.4 seconds remaining for his final points. He scored 27 points in the third quarter, 28 ...

Dwyane Wade Complete Highlights [ 55 Points / 9 Rebounds ] vs Knicks 12.4.09 Carreer High SICK!

MIAMI(AP) As the final moments ticked away in the greatest scoring show of his career, Dwyane Wade was summoned to the New York Knicks' bench for a quick word. "It's kind of ridiculous,'' Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni told him, "that you're this good.'' Get ready, Atlanta: Wade looks primed for the playoffs. Wade scored 55 points, one shy of the franchise record, and the Miami Heat wrapped up the No. 5 spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs by beating the Knicks 122-105 on Sunday night. The Heat will visit fourth-seeded Atlanta when the opening playoff round starts this weekend. "I came in early and I was very focused,'' Wade said. "My teammates thought something was wrong with me because I wasn't talking.'' Nothing was wrong. Not even close. Wade shot 19-for-30 from the field, set a career high with six 3-pointers, and nearly topped Glen Rice's record of 56 points before leaving with 1:06 remaining. Some in the crowd - even at least one member of the Heat coaching staff - wanted Wade to get one more chance at the record, but Heat coach Erik Spoelstra chose not to take the risk. "He's broken every other record,'' Spoelstra said. "Let's leave one of them to Glen Rice.'' Michael Beasley finished with 28 points and 16 rebounds for the Heat, who also got 15 points from Mario Chalmers. Al Harrington and Wilson Chandler each scored 21 points for New York. Quentin Richardson finished with 14 and David Lee had an 11-point, 11-rebound night for the Knicks. Wade scored for the final ...
